A two-week post-graduate training course on the "Use of Nuclear and other Advanced Techniques in Food and Agriculture Research" aimed at dissemination of latest scientific knowledge about the developments taking place in the field of Food and Agriculture would conclude here on Friday, says a press release issued Thursday.
It is pertinent to mention here that the ongoing training course had started from September 12 and would conclude on September 23 next at Nuclear Institute for Food and Agriculture (Nifa), Peshawar.
Proper utilisation of scientific knowledge in their respective departments may help achieve self-sufficiency in food and agriculture, the press release further said.
Professor Dr Said Khan Khalil, Vice-Chancellor, NWFP University of Agriculture Peshawar would be the chief guest at the certificate distribution ceremony on Friday September 23. As many as 21 participants from various research organisations and universities of the country including Azad Kashmir are attending the course.
