I read in newspaper that Dr Ishrat Hussain, Governor of State Bank of Pakistan will retire in December 2005 after completion of 5 years contract period.
In this connection I would like to draw kind attention of Honourable President of Pakistan and Honourable Prime Minister of Pakistan that with the efforts of Dr Ishrat Hussain State Bank of Pakistan has been improved in many field and still needs improvement in many more sectors.
It is important that Dr Ishrat Hussain may be asked by our government to stay for another 4 to 5 years. I hope that our Honourable President and Prime Minister will kindly consider this matter.
