Jamhoori Watan Party Central Deputy Secretary General Rauf Khan Sasuli has said that all the Balochistan's nationalist parties and PPP have rejected the report of the parliamentary committee on Balochistan headed by Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed describing it illogical, biased, and unrealistic.
Talking to newsmen of Multan on phone Sasuli said the report on development package for the province in the Senate was presented on Wednesday while the other subcommittee on constitutional package headed by Senator Wasim Sajjad has still to finalise its report.
He said, "The major stakeholders of the Balochistan had boycotted the parliamentary committee proceedings so we have rejected it.""We do not own this report and it will further raise sense of depravation prevailed in the province," he added.
He said the unjust policies of the government have smashed the country economically and sense of deprivation increasing in the people of Balochistan.
"We only demand that government give us parity rate on our national resources which was being given to the Punjab and Sindh, but it was not listen to," he added.
Sasuli said, "We have reservations about the report, but the final decision to reject or accept it would be taken after the complete report of the committee is submitted."
When asked about the ARD's stance on the subcommittee's report as two different views of its component parties revealed that the alliance is still undecided on the report, He said that report was presented in the Senate on Wednesday and it was yet not taken up in the alliance meeting.
"When it was come for discussion then a consensus point of view of the ARD would come," he added.
