Senator Mohammed Amin Dadabhoy has congratulated President General Pervez Musharraf for his correct projection of Pakistan's stance on Kashmir, terrorism, and other world issues during the UN summit. In a statement on Saturday Dadabhoy appreciated Musharraf's stance during the summit on Palestinian Arabs rights, the rights of the Kashmiris and for projecting Islam in its true spirit.
He said that the stance Musharraf has taken during these summits would go a long way in enhancing the image of Pakistan and its peace loving people. His speeches have helped remove misunderstandings and confusion that has damaged reputation of the Ummah.
He said: "All meetings of Musharraf with leaders of the world would have left lasting impression that Pakistan and the Pakistanis are peace loving people and that Pakistan is committed to fight terrorism till it is eliminated from the region in particular and from the world in general."
