Senator Anisa Zeb Tahirkheli, Minister of State (MoS) for Information and Broadcasting visited the Regional Information Office of the Press Information Department (PID) here on Tuesday.
Ijaz Hussain Director PID Lahore briefed the minister about working of the department. The Director said that there was strong, vibrant and independent media presence in the metropolis due to present government liberal policies and harmonious relations were enjoyed by all.
The minister pointed that present government had a very broadminded and lenient policy vis a vis the media.
