The University of Sindh Area Study Centre - Far East and South Asia is organising one-day international seminar on "Pakistan-China Relations in Changing Regional and Global Scenario" on Thursday September 29 (tomorrow).
Sindh Minister for Education Professor Dr Hamida Khuhro will be the Chief Guest while the Vice Chancellor of Sindh University Mazhar-ul-Haq Siddiqui will preside over the inaugural session of the seminar.
After inaugural session, in its two working sessions, the scholars from Pakistan and China will present their papers on different topics.
Sichuan University China Professor Dr Zhang Li will chair the first working session while former Ambassador Dr Maqbool A Bhatti will present his paper on Security Dimension of Pakistan-China Relations.
Professor Dr Guihong Zhang will present his paper on US India Strategic Co-operation: Implications for China and Pakistan, Professor Dr Dolla Varaprasad Professor of Jawahar Lal Nehru University, New Delhi, will present his paper on Civilian Technology Transfer between China and Pakistan.
The second working session will be under the theme of "Pakistan-China Relations (Security, Political and Economic Dimensions). Zhejiang University China Institute of International Strategy Deputy Director Professor Dr Guihong Zhang will chair the session.
Former ambassador Khalid Mehmood will present his paper on Economic Dimension of Pakistan-China Relations. Professor Dr Zhang Li will present his paper on "Sino-Pakistan Relations: Potential, New Issues and the Emerging Trend, Professor Dr Shang Quanyu Department of Politics and History Studies Zhanjiang University of China will present his paper on China Relationship is Coming to an End? And former ambassador Javed Hussain will present his paper on Political Dimension of Pakistan China Relations.
