The devotees of Shahbaz Qalandar, who were returning home by Sehwan Special Train, manhandled the station master of Feroza Railway Station Munir Ahmed on detaining the train for two and half hours.
The devotees told the newsmen that Special train was already running behind time. It was detained for two and a half hours at Feroza Railway Station, where neither water nor eatables were available.
Whenever they contacted the station master he replied that it would run after 10 minutes. However, Station Master Munir Ahmed said he is not authorised to issue a line-clear to any train and he is bound to follow the instructions of Controller but the passengers did not agree with him and they gave him severe beating.
TRADERS PROTEST: Traders of Multan Cantonment Area have protested on the increase of monthly rent of their shops by 200 percent and said that they would be forced to shift their business to other shopping centres and markets if Cantonment Board does not withdraw recent increase in the rent, which is unjust and unfair.
Traders said that customers have already shifted to other markets and business in Sadar Bazar is dull and they are unable to run their home expenses after payment of rent and utility bills.
