Chaudhry Zulfiqar Hayat has been unanimously elected as Chairman of the Pakistan Leather Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (Plgmea) Central for the year 2005-06.
According to a press release issued here on Wednesday, the newly elected central executive board also elected Hassan Ali Bhatti and Rashid Ahmed Zahir as vice chairmen of the association for Northern and Southern Zones respectively.
Chaudhry Zulfiqar has been elected Plgmea Chairman for the second time. He has the distinction of being the Chairman of Alternate Dispute Resolution Committee of Income Tax and Sales Tax Gujranwala region, founder member of the Citizen Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) Sialkot and Convenor Sales Tax committee of the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Chaudhry Zulfiqar, a leading leather garment exporter, is a law graduate from Punjab University and has been extensively involved in policy-making with various government agencies.-PR
