Pakistan's bilateral trade with China's Zhejiang province will reach 500 million dollars by the end of this year. The prospects are quite rich to further boost the bilateral trade, said Zhejiang's Deputy Governor Zhang Shan during his meeting with Pakistan Consul General in Shanghai Zafaruddin Mahmood.
Nearly 600 Pakistanis have set up their business network in this province and mostly are settled in Yiwu city. The governor said his province was willing to enhance its co-operation with Pakistan by undertaking joint ventures in textile, leather and agro-based sectors.
For this purpose, a delegation of the Chinese entrepreneurs would be sent to Pakistan early next year, he added. Zafaruddin Mahmood, who also held meetings with other provincial leaders, said he received positive indications for strengthening their economic.
