Veqar ul Islam, Managing Director, Nokia Pakistan was honoured the 'IT Professional of the year of Pakistan' award during SEARCC conference held in Sydney, Australia. He was earlier working as Country Manager Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh of NCR.
According to a statement issued here on Friday, the announcement was made at the Gala Dinner on Thursday, 29 September 2005 when the winners were declared. The award winners were provided the opportunity to take part in panel sessions during SEARCC.-PR
