Abid Chinoy and Shahzad Alam were elected Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Pakistan Cloth Merchants Association (PCMA) for the year 2005-06. For Sindh-Balochistan zone, Nasim Ahmed was elected Chairman and Naqi Bari and Rafiq A.Ghani, Vice-Presidents.
The following were elected new members for the year 2005-06: Central Executive Committee: Abid Chinoy and Asif Karim. Sindh-Blochistan Zone: Abid Chinoy, Muhammad Hashim, Asif Karim, Rafiqullah Khan and Muhammad Salman.
Central Governing Council: Abid Chinoy, Muhammad Hashim, Asif Karim, Rafiquallh Khan, Abdul Wahid Bandukda, Humayun Naseem, Muhammad Yousuf Ismail and Muhammad Nisar. The result was announced by PCMA Secretary General M. Rafiq Khan. Outgoing Central Chairman Jawed Chinoy thanked patron-in-chief A. Sattar Chinoy for his valuable advises and guidance. His continuous co-operation helped the PCMA in smooth functioning in the best interests of members, he said, and appreciated the services rendered by Secretary General Rafiq Khan and his staff for making various activities of the Association a great success.
