Starting the franchise buses on the roads of Punjab in order to control the traffic in different cities is a step taken by the present government. Now we rarely see mini-buses or vanes for pick and drop of passengers. These buses have increased their fares recently.
The relative authorities say that they have increased the fares by the permission of government due to increase in petroleum prices and its true that petroleum prices are increasing day by day not only in Pakistan but in the whole world but the income of employes, government or private, are still the same as it was a year ago.
So how can a poor person afford this rise in of fare, if he is already living hand to mouth. It is also not suitable for poor students who use these buses to reach their institutes daily. The government should take care of the poor manes especially students as there students are the future of Pakistan.
