On the basis of astronomical calculations by Pakistan Meteorological Department here the annular eclipse of the Sun on October 3 (Monday) will be partially visible in Pakistan.
The annular eclipse will be visible from Iberian Peninsula, Europe, Western Asia, the Middle East, India, Eastern Greenland, Iceland and most parts of Africa, said a press release issued by Met office on Saturday.
According to press release, the eclipse will begin at 12:36 pm (PST). Its annular phase will start at 1.42 pm and the greatest eclipse will be observed at 3:32 pm (PST).
The annular phase will end at 5:21 pm and the eclipse will end at 6:28 pm. The maximum duration of the annular phase will be of 4 minutes and 26 seconds.
