ISE index up 72.98 points

Bulls further tightened their grip on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where fresh buying spree in trend-setters moved the entire ready board in upward direction amid increase in index.
The ISE index was up by 72.98 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 11,803.22 to 11,876.20 points. The overall volume amounted to 1,924,600 shares as compared to previous turnover of 1,066,300 shares.
A total of 128 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (72) closed in positive territory; 56 showed minus signs; while zero company remained pegged to its overnight level.
The OGDCL volume was 1,083,300 shares as compared to previous turnover of 470,500 shares. The PTCL turnover was 572,700 shares as compared to previous volume of 433,900 shares. The volume of PSO was 103,900 shares as compared to previous turnover of 48,000.
