LAHORE: The Directorate General Training and Research (DGTR) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) in collaboration with Pakistan Furniture Council will impart training to exporters and importers of furniture industry for prompt filing of goods declaration, its procedure and documentation.
FBR sources told APP here Saturday that Pakistan Revenue Automation Limited (PRAL) had developed a 'Weboc' (Web based one customs) for the convenience of exporters and importers across the country and the FBR had arranged a one-day training session for all nominees of the Pakistan Furniture Council on October 6 next in the office of the Directorate General of Training and Research in Lahore.
Ch Sakhi Muhammad, former Principal Appraiser currently practicing at Lahore High Court and Ms Zainab Mehmood, Assistant Director of Intelligence and Investigation directorate will deliver lectures on the various uses of website software its utility and proper timely application followed by the question and answer session.
When contacted, GM Pakistan Furniture Council Hamid Mahmood told APP that PFC Chief Executive Mian Kashif Ashaq had nominated 14 top ranking executives attached to furniture industry for the training who later on, will further train the exporters and importers of furniture industry.
The participants will be awarded certificates.
