Oxford University Press has acquired the assets of US-based law publisher Oceana Publications Inc (Oceana), says an OUP release issued here on Friday. Oceana is a specialist legal publisher with particular strengths in the fields of international law and trans-national commercial law.
The portfolio comprises over 100 loose-leaf titles, key monographs and online products. Oceana publishes for academic and professional legal markets in the US and overseas. Flagship products include the loose-leaf and online Constitutions of the Countries of the World.
Oxford University Press combines a long-standing tradition of commitment to excellence with a full programme of new titles providing for the research and learning requirements of academics, practitioners, and students.
Oxford is establishing a world-wide reputation as a first choice legal publisher for authors and customers.
