Two schoolgirls were killed and several other injured when the roof of their school collapsed at Ahmad Nagar as a result of earthquake, which hit here at about 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The school children were sent back to their homes due to fear of earthquake.
Due to tremors, which lasted for about three minutes, cracks also developed in several buildings in and around the city. The second jolt of earthquake was felt here at 4:30 p.m.
