Punjab Government has approved a scheme to lay new 10.24 kilometer long sewerage line between Nishatabad and Pahring Drain to discharge continuously flooded effluent industrial water to save Nishatabad Overhead Bridge as well as main Railway Track from seepage of water.
This effluent Industrial water was not only damaged the basic communication infrastructure, but also yielding so many problems for 0.25 million peoples of the area.
According to Wasa sources, this project will be completed with the total cost of Rs 382 million within limited period and a new disposal station would be constructed at Bawa Road.
