A batch of Pakistani contingent from United Nations Mission in Burundi arrived here on Sunday night. Brigadier Abdul Basit Rana, Brigade Commander, received the troops at Quaid-e-Azam International Airport, said an ISPR press release. This batch of about 300 troops of an infantry battalion had reported after completing the UN mission successfully.
The last batch is expected to arrive in next few days to complete the relief and repatriation operation of Pakistani troops in Burundi.
