'No early warning system about earthquake'

Meteorological expert, Muhammad Hanif said on Monday that no early warning system had so far been discovered across the world about the occurrence of earthquakes.
Anywhere in the world it was impossible to predict the occurrence of earthquakes, Hanif told PTV. He said the occurrence of after-shocks after an earthquake of high intensity was a natural thing and a scientific fact. In Rawalpindi, Islamabad and many other areas a number of after-shocks had occurred during the past two days, he said adding with the passage of time their frequency would decrease.
