Navy playing vital role in carrying out relief operation

The Pakistan Navy is standing firm by its government with dedication and commitment to serving the nation in this time of trial, and has joined hands in carrying out the relief operations.
The resources are mobilised and funds are being generated from its own resources, including a substantial contribution from the Pakistan Navy Women Association.
A relief camp at Balakot is being set up in co-ordination with the district administration, which would look after the collection and distribution of relief goods. In this connection, first consignment of relief goods was dispatched from Naval Complex on Tuesday morning, which was personally seen off by Pakistan Navy Women Association President Begum Vice Admiral Mohammad Haroon.-PR
