The Italian Trade Commission here in association with "Assomac", the National Association of Italian Manufacturers of Footwear, Leather Goods and Tanning Machinery, has extended an official invitation to five Pakistani delegates to meet and explore business possibilities with more than 400 Italian, European and other companies.
These companies from all over the world participating in the best international exhibition "Tanning Tech-2005", world's best international exhibition in machines and technologies for tanning industry.
The exhibition is going to be held in Bologna, Italy, from October 25-28, 2005, said Italian Trade Commissioner in Karachi Dr Marcoo Pintus here on Wednesday.
The invitees included Khawaja M. Yousuf, Chairman Pakistan Tanners Association.
Dr Pintus pointed out that while visiting exhibition, Pakistani delegates will have great opportunity to attend workshops on operation of Italian Tanning Machinery and will visit the stands of Italian Tanning machinery manufacturers.
Assomac, in collaboration with the Italian Trade Commission, has always had several opportunities to meet the Pakistani tanning sector. It has set up over the years many intensive programmes, such as technical training courses in Italy, workshop/seminars and technical presentations in Italy and Pakistan, visits of experts to Pakistani tanning industry for up gradation and technical assistance, research studies and official participation of Pakistani industry in Italian fairs and exhibitions.
