Kraft to cut 600 jobs

Kraft Foods Inc on Friday said it will cut about 600 salaried jobs as part of a plan to streamline its organisation. The jobs are part of a previously announced plan that will cut about 6,000 jobs, the maker of Oreo cookies and Kraft Cheese said.
The largest US food company is eliminating divisions within its North American Commercial unit, overhauling the structure of its Canadian business and revamping its supply chain operations to be more aligned with changes made in North America Commercial, the company said.
