The spokesman of Ministry of Religious Affairs, Muhammad Ilyas Dar has said that Haj applicants whose applications were rejected consecutively in the year 2004 and 2005 would be given chance without balloting for the year 2006.
Clarifying for the information of general public, he said that Haj Policy 2006 duly approved by the Prime Minister did not allow the selection of unsuccessful applicants of Haj-2005 without ballot for the forthcoming Haj.
The Ministry has issued clarifications more than once during previous weeks.
