A group of parliamentarians headed by the Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain called on Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz in his chamber at the Parliament House on Saturday and discussed with him ways and means to further expedite relief operation to help quake victims.
The PML president informed the Prime Minister that the people are facing the calamity with courage and their spirits are high.
The Prime Minister said these are trying times for the country but we are certain that our people will rise to the occasion and help rehabilitate their brethren. He also lauded the role played by the armed forces in this connection.
The PML president and the Prime Minister also thanked the opposition for extending co-operation.-PR
