Punjab University has established a committee, headed by Professor Dr Dil Muhammad Malik to supervise the admission process for the students of Azad Jammu and Kashmir University to the Punjab University.
It has been decided that admission to the Punjab University would be given to only those students who have been studying at AJK University Muzaffarabad. Such students are required to get provisional certificate from the vice-chancellor of their varsity.
PU vice-chancellor Arshad Mahmood announced scholarship for AJK students and directed the committee to facilitate the students by minimising the procedural formalities.
