The Karachi Port handled 65,256 tonnes of cargo including 49,668 tonnes import and 15,588 tonnes export cargo including 2,934 containers during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Saturday.
The cargo comprised of 65,256 tonnes dry cargo including 39,321 tonnes general cargo; 5,185 tonnes sugar; 10,055 tonnes fertiliser; 8,800 tonnes coal; 2.339 tonnes rice and 644 tonnes cement.
Five ships namely Norasia Polaris, Clio, Iran Shahryar, Le Yi and Kota Teguh sailed out to sea during the report period.
Six vessels viz Sagamore, Wan Hai-266, United Prosperity, Thor Captain, Ocean Flourish and Pear are currently at the berths.
Six ships namely Chang Le Men, Sagamore, Wan Hai-266, United Prosperity, Great Morning and African Star expected to sail on Saturday, while another ship Muhieddine-1 is expected to sail on Sunday.
Three vessels viz Westermuehlen, Cape Bona Vista and Daya Hai due to arrive on Saturday, while four ships namely MT Shalamar, Bunga Kenari, Yangtze River and Fiona-7 are due to arrive on Sunday.
Four ships namely Challenge Express, Iran Baluchistan, Yang Jiang He and Iran Yamin are due to arrive on Monday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 40,339 tonnes comprising 27,079 tonnes import and 13,260 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 1,247 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Saturday.
The cargo comprised of 7,190 tonnes wheat; 2,827 tonnes sugar; 8,000 tonnes chemicals; 1,123 tonnes jute and 21,199 tonnes containerised cargo.
Four ships namely Msc Austria, Al-Mariyah, Wester Moor and Chemstar Belle sailed out to sea during the report period.
A total of five vessels viz Lissy Schulte, Gas Fortune, Suzanne, Captain P. Egglezos and Tian Da are currently at the outer anchorage.
Two ships namely CV Wester Moor and MT Suzanne due to take berths on Friday.
Two ships namely Oocl Authority and Maersk Alaska due to arrive on Saturday, while three more ships namely Al-Maqwa, Difko Chaser and Mbow Pride with diesel oil and edible oil are due to arrive on Sunday.
