Abdul Aziz Siddiqui, husband of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) MPA Asma Sherwani, was shot dead allegedly by Anti Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) cops at Loni Kot area on Super Highway late Saturday.
Abdul Aziz was coming from Karachi in his car No AEB-472 through Super Highway to Hyderabad. When he reached at Police Post No 4 on Super Highway, ACLC staff intercepted him for checking, but he did not stop and continue driving.
ACLC police chased him and opened fire on him near Police Post No 10. Abdul Aziz received bullet injuries and died on the spot.
He was resident of Khahi Road in the limits of Market Police Station, Hyderabad where his body was brought.
