Bulls returned in the driving seat at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where fresh buying spree in hot favourite moved the equities in upward direction amid increase in index.
ISE Network index showed an improvement of 75.28 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 11,579.25 to 11,654.53 points. The overall volume amounted to 14,44,400 shares as compared to previous turnover of 16,41,00 shares.
Total 114 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (76) landed in positive territory, 38 showed minus signs whereas zero company remained pegged to its previous level.
The turnover of PTCL was 10,59,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 13,13,700 shares. The volume of OGDCL was 199,500 shares as compared to previous turnover of 105,500 shares. The volume of Fauji Fertiliser was 39,000 shares.
