Three criminals, under investigation, involved in minor theft cases escaped from police lockup, City Police Station Muzaffargarh, after removing iron bars.
The District Police Officer Muzaffargarh has ordered to register case against three policemen on duty and detained them in the same lock-up for negligence of their duty.
According to the DPO, services of Muzaffargarh Police Station SHO Imtiaz Tangwani and Duty Officer Shabbir Khitran had been suspended while three policemen Nasir Mehmood, Muhammad Imtiaz and Hafeez-ur-Rehman were arrested in the case registered under section 223 and 224 PPC against them.
Jadoon Masih s/o Fazal Iqbal Masih, Nasir s/o Ghulam Rasul and Khuda Bakhsh s/o Fateh Mohammad were kept in the lockup for investigation regarding the cases against them. Taking advantage of negligence of policemen they escaped after removing iron bars of the lockup gate.
