LHC accepts Railways employees petitions

The Lahore High Court (LHC), while nullifying the suitability test taken by Pakistan Railways (PR), has accepted some identical petitions filed by PR employees.
The petitioner, Sumaira Kausar and others contended before the court that they are working with Pakistan Railways since last several years as regular employee, but the respondents announced to hold a suitability test for their confirmation. They prayed to the court to declare the test in question as illegal and without lawful authority. The court, after hearing their counsel at length, accepted their petitions and nullified the test in question.
