Remains of London suicide bomber buried

The remains of one of the four suicide bombers blamed for July 7 attacks in London were buried on Thursday in a village of his ancestors, relatives said.
The mother of Shehzad Tanweer brought the remains of her son on a flight on Wednesday from London to Lahore, according to an Interior Ministry official.
They were then driven to Chhotian Kota village, where the remains were buried.
Tanweer was one of the three British Muslims of Pakistani descent who detonated home made bombs on three underground trains and a bus, killing 52 people.
Residents said the burial was arranged by an uncle of Tanweer, Tahir Pervaiz, whom the 22-year-old former sports student from Leeds northern England had visited during a trip to Pakistan from mid-November last year to February.
"The burial has taken place," Pervaiz told Reuters by telephone before declining to answer more questions.
One resident of Chhotian Kota village Shafqat Munir told Reuters that 100 to 150 people - family members and other villagers - attended the funeral in the compound of what is known as Pir Barkat Ali Shah's shrine.
