98 trucks sent to quake-hit areas

Gul Hameed Rokri Punjab Minister for Revenue and Relief chairing a meeting here on Saturday said that 98 trucks of relief aid have been sent to earthquake affected areas by the provincial government recently.
Director General Relief Irfan Elahi on the occasion said that Rs 304.5 million worth of food items, Rs 512.0 million worth of blankets, Rs 307.5 million worth of tents and Rs 150 worth of medicines have been sent to tremor hit areas so far.
Briefing about recent relief items, he said 17 trucks of food items, eight trucks of tents, 63 trucks of tents, two trucks of medicines have been sent to the affected areas.
