The Lahore High Court (LHC) has dismissed a petition against a Tehsil Nazim Feroz Khan Joya of Piplan district Mianwali, as the petitioner failed to prove his case.
The petitioner contended that the respondent Feroz Khan Joya was earlier declared as loosing candidate, but afterwards he was declared successful. He contended that the respondent had rigged the election.
The court had restrained the respondent from taking oath but now rejected the petition, as the petitioner failed to prove his case.
EID HOLIDAYS The Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court (LHC) has announced three holidays on account of Eid-ul-Fitr. According to a notification, the LHC at principal seat, its benches at Multan Bahawalpur, Rawalpindi and civil and sessions courts in the province will remain closed from November 03 to 05, on account of Eid-ul-Fitr.
