All customs export stations especially at Port Qasim will remain open till 7 pm on Thursday November 3 for examination. The arrangements have been made by the Collector Export, Nisar Mohammad on a request made by the Central Chairman of Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (Prgmea), Bilal Mullah.
Prgmea while drawing attention of the Collector towards long Eid holidays from November 3 to 6, in a fax sent on Monday had expressed the fear that in case export consignments were not shipped in time, buyers might cancel the orders.
Bilal Mulla has appreciated the quick response of the Collector ensuring smooth flow of exports during Eid holidays.
