Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shaharyar M Khan has expressed his desire to see Rawalpindi District Cricket Association (RDCA) to flourish, progress and develop as a model association following free, fair and independent elections held by the PCB on October 30.
Shaharyar M Khan, who administered oath to newly-elected RDCA office-bearers, said on Tuesday here that the entire cricket generation of Rawalpindi would benefit from this positive development as a result of truce struck between the two factions.
"It is my earnest desire to see RDCA developing as a role-model for other associations and if one talks about the cricket nurseries.
RCA surely is a leading one" said Chairman PCB Shaharyar, who specially flew in the city to take oath from the three elected office-bearers of the RDCA, President Mohammad Ashraf Qureshi, Secretary Masood Anwar and Treasurer Asif Islam Bajwa.
