Parliamentarian Doctors' Forum (PDF), Society for Health and Development Exchange (SHADE) and Pakistan Medical Society are to hold a joint walk in third week of this month from Punjab Assembly to the Governor's House, to show solidarity with the earthquake-affected people.
The aim of holding this walk is to highlight and reinforce the gravity of the disaster to international media, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, President of PDF, Dr Muzaffar Shaikh MPA and Chairman Standing Committee for Health, Punjab and provincial co-ordinator for PDF, Dr Masood Akhtar Shaikh, Chairman Pakistan Medical Society said here on Wednesday.
Parliamentarian doctors, members of provincial assembly, provincial ministers, advisors, youth, lawyers and members of chamber of commerce and industry, film actors will participate in the event, they added.
