President Pervez Musharraf will lead the Pakistan delegation to the Islamic Summit being held in Makkah Al Mukarramah next month. Saudi King Khadim Al Haramain Abdullah Ibn Abdul Aziz would host the Summit along with the current OIC Chairman Ahmed Badawi, the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
It may be mentioned here that Musharraf was one of the initiators of the proposal for holding the Summit in Makkah where important decisions are expected regarding OIC revamping and its more active functioning.
The connected work in respect of proposals from Pakistan at the summit is now in full swing at the foreign office.
