University of Karachi has announced that it will conduct entrance tests for certain courses before final admission is finalised.
The tests would be conducted for admission to Biotechnology (Morning) (test on December 4, 2005 at 10:30 am), BPA (Honours), MPA, Human Resource Management, Management Information System, Legal Dimension in Administration, Financial Management, Development Strategy (test on November 25, 2005 at 4:00 pm at the Arts Faculty).
List of the successful candidates would be announced on December 3, 2005 while the group discussions and interviews would be held on 4 and 5 December 2005. Final list would be announced on December 10, 2005.
Professor Abdur Rehman, Chairman, School of Business, University of Karachi has said that admission forms for BBA (Honours) and MBA (Morning/Evening) shifts would be accepted till November 19, 2005.
Entrance test for MBA would be held at 9:30 am while for BBA it would be at 2:00 pm at the Faculty of Arts. The final list would be put on December 12, 2005 at the Silver Jubilee gate. Tuition fee could be deposited from December 13 to 16, 2005.
Professor Nasreen Aslam Shah, Director, Centre of Excellence for Women Studies has informed that admission forms for MA could be submitted from November 22, 2005 to December 15, 2005.
Merit list would be displayed on December 17 while the interviews would be conducted on December 20. The final list would be ready on December 21 and the tuition fee could be submitted till December 31.
In the meantime, Professor Shakeel Ahmed Khan, Director Admissions, University of Karachi has informed the candidates that the admission process in Honours classes would culminate on November 19 and no extension would be allowed. The new session would start from January 2, 2006.
