Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) elections will be held on November 19, and the advocates general of all the four provinces would be the returning officers.
There are 78 voters in Punjab and as many as 20 candidates are in the run for 11 seats, 33 voters in NWFP and 5 candidates are contesting for four seats, 42 voters in Sindh and 7 candidates are vying for six seats. In Balochistan, there are 8 voters and four candidates are in the run for two seats.
Among others, Hamid Khan, Kazim Khan, Hafiz Abdur Rehman Ansari, Khalid Ranjha, Raja Mehmood Akhtar, Pir Kaleem Ahmed Khurshid and Mian Israrul Haq are in the run from Punjab.
