For earthquake fund raising, Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop (RPTW) has donated 1000 VVIP tickets a day of 10 musical shows to Fashion Arts Media and Entertainment (Fame), charity organisation, for the length of the 'World Performing Arts Festival 2005', to be held between November 19 and 28.
Usmaan Peerzada, head of RPTW, disclosed this during a press conference held here on Sunday. Tariq Saeed of Fame and Fizan Peerzada were also present on the occasion.
He said that the proceeds through purchase of these tickets would go towards the earthquake victims cause. "On the concluding day of the festival, in the presence of the Punjab Chief Minister the total amount of the fund collection would be announced," he added.
