The Frontier Corps (FC) has seized 942-kg of morphine, 295-kg of hashish and 37-kg of opium in Shabian near Pak-Afghan border on Sunday, whereas no arrest was made.
This was informed by Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Jamil Hassan in a press briefing here on Monday. He said the FC has seized 21.485 tons of drugs worth Rs 1,660.720 million during the current year. Besides, the Frontier Corps is taking effective measures for security along the borders, checking smuggling, gun running and maintaining law and order in the province.
