A contingent of Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) on Tuesday left for United Nations peacekeeping mission in Haiti. A contingent of civil armed forces comprising 125 personnel, including nine officers, leaves from Quaid-e-Azam International Airport, Karachi for Haiti by a chartered flight.
The contingent will form part of Special Police Force of the United Nations. Besides Pakistan Rangers (Sindh), officers and troops of Coast Guards, Frontier Constabulary (FC), NWFP and FC, Balochistan and Punjab Rangers are also included in the contingent. Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) Deputy Director General Brigadier Taqdees Ahmed Lodhi seen them off at the airport.-PR
