PESHAWAR: Host Thailand defeated Pakistan by 5-1 in the semi-finals of the ongoing Women Asian Federation Hockey Cup being played at Bangkok, Thailand on Saturday.
Led by 2-1 at half-time, the host Thailand women team fully dominated the proceedings and did not give room to Pakistan strikers to maneuver.
Kalsoom Shahzadi was the only scorer for Pakistan. After semi-final lost, Pakistan would play for the 3rd position match in the Cup.
The match of the 3rd position and final will be played on Sunday (October 9).
