CBR two-day workshop on tax reforms

The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) will be organising two-day workshop on implementation of tax reforms strategy at Bhurban from November 27 to 28. The workshop would discuss the issues raised by the World Bank relating to Tax Administration Reform Project (TARP).
The moot would focus on re-organisation of CBR on functional lines, measures to improve transparency and integrity of tax administration, workforce planning and roll out of Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) and strategy to improve the tax-GDP ratio.
The workshop would be participated by CBR Chairman, all members, Director General Intelligence and Investigation, Regional Commissioner of Income Tax Northern Region Islamabad, DG Training and Research, Customs and Excise Islamabad, DG Valuation, Co-ordinator Legal and Co-ordinator 'Special Incentives', Special Assistant to Chairman and officers of BS-19 of Tax Policy and Reform Wing.
