Grams prices fell sharply on the local grain market on Saturday due to fresh arrivals, dealers said. On Saturday, on the grams side, garda lost Rs 25 to Rs 1925-1975, Gram dal Punjab shed the same amount to Rs 2350-2400, yellow peas Canada lost Rs 20 to Rs 1280-1320.
Yellow peas dal Canada was down by Rs 25 to Rs 1500-1540, beetle chana. shed the same amount, dealers said.
They said that beetle 50x50 and dall beetle both shed Rs 50 to Rs 2000-2050 and Rs 2400-2450, Bajra inferior type shed Rs 50 to Rs 1350 and better type maintained overnight level at Rs 1500.
On the seed side, cottonseed oilcake with bag lost Rs 15 to Rs 465 and Rs 475, they said. Other items did not move any side.
