The annual Tableeghi Ijtema was concluded here on Sunday amid prayers for the whole Muslim Ummah particularly the victims of the deadly earthquake in NWFP and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Around two million faithful volunteers participated in the Pakistan's biggest religious congregation, while ulema and speakers including Haji Abdul Wahab, Maulana Ibrahim, Abdur Rasheed Swati, Maulana Muhammad Ahmed Lar, Maulana Muhammad Ismail, Maulana Tariq Jamil and others addressed various sittings.
Addressing on the occasion, they said Tableeghi Ijtema was a small gathering as compared to that to be staged on the Day of Judgement for which every Muslim should prepare him/herself.
Therefore, everyone should follow Allah's commandments and the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) so that they could get His blessings and forgiveness, they added.
Special dua was offered for the unity, solidarity and developing harmony in the Muslim Ummah. The Ijtema also offered fateha for the souls departed in the October 8 calamity.
Faithful from around 90 countries, including Sudan, UK, US, Fiji, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, UAE, Palestine and Africa participated in the Tableeghi Ijtema.
Faithful from different parts of Pakistan throng the congregation through road, rail and air transport.
