UVAS signs MoU with Washington university

University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Washington State University for research collaboration.
Under the MoU, the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences and Washington State University will collaborate in research, education and economic development programmes.
The MoU was signed during recent visit of UVAS vice-chancellor Professor Dr Manzoor Ahmad in the US where he was also given an award. He also met with WSU President Dr V Lane Rawlins and discussed with him education and research programmes.
The VC also held meetings with the professors of WSU's College of Veterinary Medicine, International Research and Development, Natural Resource Sciences and Wildlife Management, Department of Veterinary Microbiology and Pathology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, School of Molecular Biosciences, Department of Food Sciences and Human Nutrition, Department of Veterinary Comparative Anatomy and Physiology, Department of Veterinary Clinical Services, Washington Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory, School of Biological Sciences, Centre of Reproductive Biology and Center for Integrated Biotechnology.
