All Pakistan Contractors Association (APCA) has made an offer to the Prime Minister of Pakistan for the construction of 100-bed hospital in Azad Kashmir.
APCA and Saadullah Khan and Brothers (SKB) in Azad Kashmir would jointly construct the hospital. A delegation, led by Engr. Ahmad Ghazal Usmani, Chairman APCA met Prime Minister and made formal offer in this regard. Director M/s Usmani Associates, Engr. Kamal Nasir Khan Executive Director of M/S Saadullah Khan and Brothers, and Tauqir Sultan Anwar, Chief Executive M/s Hajvary Associates were also present on the occasion.
According to APCA Secretary Muhammad Younas Khan, the Prime Minister has accepted the APCA's offer and appreciated the gesture. The hospital will be earthquake proof and will be of prefabricated steel structure with facility of modern operation theater, outdoor and emergency facility, children and gyane ward and fully equipped laboratory, he added.
Chairman APCA has stated that construction of the hospital will start immediately after the availability of land. The project will be completed within four months. The building code framed by the Pakistan and AJK governments would be strictly observed in construction of the hospital, he added.
