A high-powered German business delegation is scheduled to visit Pakistan from December 4 to 9 to explore business possibilities in the automobile industry, coal mining, thermal energy, metal production and metalwork sectors, it was learnt on Friday.
The Near and Middle East Association (NUMOV) is bringing this delegation on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Labour, Berlin, with main objective to examine investment and joint venture possibilities.
The main programme points include contact with Pakistani firms in Karachi and Lahore, organisation of individual meetings between interested firms, talks with high-level government officials and trade associations. The delegation will go for factory visits, lecture on the topics of expansion and modernisation of industry, privatisation of power stations.
